If you are here solely for my fiction writing projects and nothing else, I have a separate publication titled Author Jessica Redmerski specifically for that information.
If youâre not interested in receiving emails about my faith, struggles with life, and personal opinions on worldly issues, please unsubscribe from Sincerely, Jessie Ann, and subscribe to Author Jessica Redmerski.
I apologize for the confusion in having multiple publications, but I feel itâs necessary so that readers can pick and choose the content they receive in their inboxes.
(I apologize for the âstill videoâ, but for some weird reason, Substack doesnât allow audio embeds on the About pageâonly video. So, I had to improvise, because I didnât want an actual video of me talking here.)
đżChoosing Beauty When the World Offers Darknessđż
I believe my broken past has a purpose: to help othersâespecially womenâavoid or heal from brokenness. After years of following the worldâs lies about life and womanhood, I found only emptiness. Now, I live for Jesus Christ, trading feminist views for the truth of traditional Christian values.
Iâm a New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, and #1 Amazon best-selling author. Iâm also an international bestseller and award winner. I began self-publishing in 2011, and later, with great success, I signed several titles with traditional publishers. My works have been translated into more than twenty languages and have been optioned for film and television.
However, after more than three decades of using my gift for the wrong things, I have given all of that up to praise and honor God instead.
I removed sixteen secular books from sale, including my popular crime & suspense series, and one of my only means of income. Four secular books remain, as I no longer own the rights and cannot remove them.
Now, Iâm writing Christian Middle Grade and Teen fiction under the name âJessica Bradfordâ. In addition to writing fiction, I share my life story here on my publication in my memoir, Where the Dark Things Grow.
About the Subscription:
One hundred percent of my content is free to all readers, but if youâd like to support my work with a monthly or yearly subscription, I would be so appreciative!
Supporting my work with a subscriptionâor one-time donationâhelps sustain the time, focus, and emotional energy this kind of writing requires. It allows me to write more, reach more readers who need to hear these stories, and continue creating from a place of integrity rather than urgency.
About My Memoir:
Some of the material in my memoir, Where the Dark Things Grow, explores controversial, painful, and triggering experiences, and I want to approach those parts with care and protect readers who may be sensitive to those subjects. Please read with caution.
You can find all of the articles for this publication here on a dedicated feed.
Keep in mind: My memoir remains a work in progress, so I canât commit to a consistent posting schedule.
The Loose Ends:
Lastly, Iâd like to mention that all of my posts are also available with audio for the visually impairedâor anyone who prefers audio.
Thank you so much for being here!
